मुस्लिम छात्रों से अमानवीय व्यवहार के सम्बन्ध में प्रदेश के सामाजिक-सांस्कृतिक संगठनों की विज्ञप्ति

भोपाल: समाचारों से पता चला है कि इंदौर शहर में कक्षा 12 की परीक्षा के दौरान एक स्कूल के मुस्लिम छात्रों के साथ भेदभावपूर्ण बर्ताव किया गया। वहां का बंगाली स्कूल इस्लामिया करीमिया विद्यालय की छात्राओं का भी परीक्षा केंद्र था। केंद्र पर पहुंची मुस्लिम छात्राओं को उनके नियत स्थान पर नहीं बैठने दिया गया। परीक्षा केंद्र प्रबंधकों ने उन्हें खुले बरामदे में बैठ कर परीक्षा देने को विवश किया। 

उल्लेखनीय है कि कोरोना महामारी के इस दौर में मुस्लिम समुदाय के खिलाफ  योजनाबद्ध तरीके से  लगातार कुप्रचार किया जाता रहा है। महामारी के संक्रमण को आर्थिक बदहाली, सुविधाओं और सूचनाओं की कमी की बजाय समुदाय विशेष के मत्थे थोपने की करतूतें लगातार सामने आती रही हैं। विडम्बना है कि कुछ स्थानों पर  सरकारी महकमे भी ऐसे प्रयासों से न केवल प्रभावित हैं बल्कि उन्हें बढ़ावा भी दे रहे हैं। लॉक डाउन के दौरान मुसलमान विक्रेताओं के साथ अभद्र व्यवहार, मार-पीट और बहिष्करण की घटनाएं भी देखने को मिली हैं. जबकि दूसरी तरफ मुस्लिम समुदाय से जुड़े कई समूहों और व्यक्तियों द्वारा सभी जाति और धर्म के गरीबों और प्रवासी मज़दूरों को भोजन और अन्य ज़रूरत की सामग्री बांटी गयी हैं साथ ही Covid 19 से ठीक हुए कई लोगों ने प्लाज़्मा डोनेट कर के कई लोगों की जान भी बचाई है.

परीक्षा केंद्र प्रबंधकों की यह सफाई कि रेड ज़ोन इलाके से होने के कारण मुस्लिम छात्राओं को अलग से बैठाया गया, सच महसूस नहीं होती। समाचारों के मुताबिक रेड ज़ोन से आने वाले इतर धर्मों के परीक्षार्थियों के साथ ऐसा व्यवहार नहीं किया गया। संप्रदाय विशेष के नागरिकों के प्रति ऐसा व्यवहार संविधान के मूल्यों के विपरीत और अलोकतांत्रिक है। महामारी से मुकाबले के लिए हमारे जैसे विविधवर्णी देश में सामाजिक एकजुटता बहुत जरूरी है। 

इंदौर की उपरोक्त घटना अस्वीकार्य है। हम विविध सामाजिक, सांस्कृतिक आंदोलनों, संगठनों, संस्थाओं और समूहों के लोग सांप्रदायिक आधार पर भेदभाव की इस घटना की कड़ी निंदा  करते हैं। हम सरकार से मांग करते हैं कि ऐसे निर्णय लेने वाले दोषियों के विरुद्ध कड़ी कार्यवाही की जाए और भविष्य में ऐसी घटनाएं न हो यह निश्चित किया जाए। साथ ही हमारी मांग है कि बच्चों की सहुलियत अनुसार परीक्षा केंद्र सुनिश्चित किया जाए, इस केंद्र पर कार्यवाही हो साथ ही बंगाली स्कूल को भविष्य में परीक्षा केंद्र न बनाया जाए।

About जनपथ

जनपथ हिंदी जगत के शुरुआती ब्लॉगों में है जिसे 2006 में शुरू किया गया था। शुरुआत में निजी ब्लॉग के रूप में इसकी शक्ल थी, जिसे बाद में चुनिंदा लेखों, ख़बरों, संस्मरणों और साक्षात्कारों तक विस्तृत किया गया। अपने दस साल इस ब्लॉग ने 2016 में पूरे किए, लेकिन संयोग से कुछ तकनीकी दिक्कत के चलते इसके डोमेन का नवीनीकरण नहीं हो सका। जनपथ को मौजूदा पता दोबारा 2019 में मिला, जिसके बाद कुछ समानधर्मा लेखकों और पत्रकारों के सुझाव से इसे एक वेबसाइट में तब्दील करने की दिशा में प्रयास किया गया। इसके पीछे सोच वही रही जो बरसों पहले ब्लॉग शुरू करते वक्त थी, कि स्वतंत्र रूप से लिखने वालों के लिए अखबारों में स्पेस कम हो रही है। ऐसी सूरत में जनपथ की कोशिश है कि वैचारिक टिप्पणियों, संस्मरणों, विश्लेषणों, अनूदित लेखों और साक्षात्कारों के माध्यम से एक दबावमुक्त सामुदायिक मंच का निर्माण किया जाए जहां किसी के छपने पर, कुछ भी छपने पर, पाबंदी न हो। शर्त बस एक हैः जो भी छपे, वह जन-हित में हो। व्यापक जन-सरोकारों से प्रेरित हो। व्यावसायिक लालसा से मुक्त हो क्योंकि जनपथ विशुद्ध अव्यावसायिक मंच है और कहीं किसी भी रूप में किसी संस्थान के तौर पर पंजीकृत नहीं है।
