शनिवार देर शाम ख़बर आयी कि पिंजरा तोड़ अभियान की दो महिला कार्यकर्ताओं देवांगना और नताशा को उनके घर से पुलिस ने गिरफ्तार किया है। सूचना में बताया गया कि दिल्ली पुलिस की क्राइम ब्रांच ने उनसे उनके घर पर तीन घंटे तक पूछताछ की, जिसके बाद जाफ़राबाद थाने की पुलिस आयी और उन्हें गिरफ्तार कर के ले गयी।
इस घटना की कुछ वकीलों ने जब पड़ताल की तो पता चला कि यह गिरफ्तारी 24 फरवरी को जाफ़राबाद थाने में दर्ज एफआइआर के सिलसिले में ही की गयी है। इस एफआइआर में नामजद कुल 14 लोगों पर आरोप है कि इन्होंने 22 फरवरी 2020 की शाम 8 बजे स्थानीय तीन चार सौ लोगों को प्रदर्शन के लिए भड़काया और नारे लगाये।
गौरतलब है कि कोरोना के चलते हुए लॉकडाउन के दौरान दिल्ली में दंगे की जांच के सिलसिले में पुराने मुकदमों के तहत मुसलसल गिरफ्तारियां हो रही हैं। नताशा और देवांगना की गिरफ्तारी इसी कड़ी में है।
जिस एफआइआर के अंर्तगत इन्हें गिरफ्तार किया गया है उसमें आरोपितों पर आइपीसी की निम्न धाराएं लगायी गयी हैंः आइपीसी की धारा 186/188/353/283/341/109/147 और 34, एफआइआर की प्रति नीचे देखी जा सकती है।
